Recession Promotes Green Energy Switch
November 1, 2008
We are now so fearful of the credit crunch (that’s recession to you and me) that everyone is now finally looking at their extravagances and seeing how to save some pennies. And you know what, I am no different. Being green is great, but green and bankrupt is not not an option. What we want is green and efficient.
Lucky for us, green is frequently more efficient too and can be highly cost effective. I have found that switching to green energy has helped my conscience and my wallet! And I get to see exactly how much I am saving, money and carbon, and I make the informed decision about exactly how green I can afford to be.
Perfect. So right now I am actually grateful to the recession if nothing else it focuses the mind on saving cash and that can be great for the environment.
See our switch to green energy promotion at My Eco World for details.
